There's a war going on across different worlds, where miniature lands made of miniature blocks, and they are fighting in a “galaxy far, far away”.
Or actually, not that far…just in Carlsbad, California….and by “War", we mean Star Wars…and by miniature lands, made of miniature blocks, we mean mini Star Wars land made of LEGOS!!
That’s right, we’re talking about Star Wars MiniLand in Legoland, California!
Legoland has its own section of Star Wars exhibits, and they just opened their newest exhibition “The Force Awakens”. We were invited to the grand opening to see the ribbon cutting…I mean Light Saber Slashing, opening. Yep, forget the scissors here, in this Star Wars Land, Legoland does it big and slashed the ribbon with a special light saber. The new “Force Awakens” exhibit is a perfect edition to their already amazing Star Wars MiniLand, that you have to see to believe. Any fan of Star Wars, Legos, or just FUN in general, should really check this out.
We had such wonderful day at Legoland in Carlsbad, California (our old stomping grounds for when this family was stationed at Camp Pendleton…shout out to 3/5!).
We checked out the newest Star Wars exhibits, got pictures with the Storm Troopers, spent the day riding roller coasters, building lego robots, playing with gigantic lego blocked, and running through the dancing fountain. The kids had a blast and us adults did too. Its amazing what these lego builders create! We even got to meet “The Lego Movie”s hero, Emmet.
And speaking of our old stomping grounds, military families, Legoland has an awesome deal for you! You can now buy a 3-day Park Pass good for an entry into Legoland, Sea Life, AND the WaterPark, for just $75! That’s only $25 a day. This is great for our fellow California military families, especially the if you’re stationed at Camp Pendleton, or in San Diego, or even if you are just visiting our great state.
For those of you who are not military, Legoland is always having great deals, so be sure to check them out. Fun, and entertaining day for everyone, plus a company who supports our military?! We are so there! Can’t wait to see what they come up with next, and to check out their new attraction at the water park this summer!
