Fall Bucket List for Couples

It’s time to check off that Fall Bucket List for Couples!

Fall can be such a romantic time of year.  The leaves are changing, its time to get cozy with some apple cider and a comfy blanket, and there are some really great date activities you can do.  Here are some of my favorite.

Fall Bucket List For Couples

Apple Picking

Apple Picking was so fun for us to do together.  Taking a hay ride out to the fields, getting lost with each other in the rows and rows of tress, and finding the best looking apples on the farm… (usually the ones at the very top!)

It’s fun choosing between the red and the green, and deciding what you will make with your new bucket of apples.

Horseback Riding

Horseback riding in the fall is definitely romantic.  The fresh air, riding a beautiful horse, taking in the amazing fall scenery around you.  If you have never been, this is a great one to add to your list.

Corn Maze

Now this one is obviously a little more location dependent, and this California girl had a blast in my first ever corn maze.  It was so fun walking through the tall stalks of corn, navigating around the maze, and collecting all of our stamps from each station.  I stopped numerous times checking out all the different looking corn hanging from the stalks, which I had never seen before.  We definitely don’t have that in LA!

Escape Room

Ok, I think this one will be on every one of my date lists, (it’s definitely on my Rainy Day Date Ideas), because seriously…Escape Rooms are the best!  I think its safe to say, I am obsessed with them!  You have 60 seconds to solve tons of clues that lead you to your escape out of the room.

Girls, are you dating a guy you aren’t entirely too sure about just yet?  Want to see how he works with you, and how he reacts under stress and pressure?  This is your date!! It’s so fun to work together in a game like setting and use your brain power, and creativity to escape.  B and I can’t wait for the next one!

Pumpkin Patch (duh!)

Who doesn’t love a couple hours at the pumpkin patch?  Whether it’s picking the perfect one off of a vine (still on my list), or picking them from a lot, it can always be a fun adventure.  Make it a competition to see who can pick out the most perfect pumpkin, the most unique, the biggest, ugliest, etc.  A lot of pumpkin patches offer other things to do as well.  Hay rides, haunted mazes (no thanks!), trying out some awesome Fall recipes, etc.

Don’t forget your cute matching pumpkin patch outfits!

Pumpkin Carving

Now that you have a pumpkin, it’s time to go carve it…or decorate it if that’s your thing.  If you didn’t have time to hit the Pumpkin Patch, you can always find pumpkins at your local grocery store (and pretty cheap too).  Grab one, and head home and let your creativity explore.  You can carve a pattern out with a knife, use it as a light brite, or even paint your pumpkins.  The options are endless, and can be so much fun.

Handing Out Candy

Don’t have any kids, and prefer to stay home?  How about handing out candy to the local kids.  Get dressed up in a fun costume, and hand out some fun treats.  It’s always so cute to see the little ones in their costumes, and learning the art of asking for candy from strangers! …kidding…kinda.  Pop in a Halloween movie, decorate the house a bit, and enjoy your night!

Movie Night

Scary, or just Halloween themed, movie nights are always a blast around Halloween time.  I prefer to stick to movies that aren’t so scary…as opposed to my sisters who love the scariest movies they can find.  There are so many out there that it’s worth a marathon.  Build a fort, grab some snacks, make a fire, and enjoy a cozy movie night in!

Couples Costumes

Heading out for a Halloween Party?  What a better way to show up than in an awesome Couple’s Halloween Costume!  You can go as your favorite 2 characters, sidekicks, or dress up as a pair of your friends!  There are so many awesome couple’s costume ideas.

Here are some Couples Halloween Costume Ideas to get you started!

County Fair

With the Fall season also comes the County Fair.  There are so many great things to do at your local county fair.  And FOOD is my top favorite.  Our county fairs always host fun concerts, Figure 8 races, Rodeos, and my favorite Demolition Derby!! Last year, B and I went to a county fair in Illinois, and they had a Bus Demo Derby!  Gotta love watching cars (or buses) slam into each other to see who’s the last one standing…or, running?

Football Games

One of my favorite things about Fall is the start of Football season!  Our family hosts Monday Night Football all season, so we always have a blast having friends come over, pig out on some awesome food, and enjoy the football game.

What about going out to support a local high school or college Football game?  It’s fun to get bundled up, grab some hot chocolate and go cheer on a team.

Campfire and S’mores

I love campfires.  Or even fires in the fireplace.  And making S’mores is a camping tradition I never want to let die.  There’s just something relaxing and beautiful about roasting marshmallows while sitting around a fire.  Enjoying the evening with the ones you love, now that’s a Fall Bucket List check in my book!

If you decide to take a trip together, a fun fall bucket list item would be to book one of these treehouse rentals for fall!

Drive-In Movie

I don’t know how Drive-In Movie Dates ever died, but I think they need to be brought back in a big way.  It’s so much fun to cozy up in your car, grab some snacks, and watch a movie in your own car.  It’s like having your own little theater to yourself.  Check out where the closest drive in movie is around you, and see what they are playing.  The drive should be worth it!

Wine Tasting/Oktoberfest

Or both!  Wine tasting at a local winery, walking through the vineyard, or stopping on over at a local pub, these are both great Fall dates to add to your list this season.  Try out some new brews or wines, and enjoy the day with your loved one.

Foodie Day

Fall is all about the food.  Think about it, pumpkin EVERYTHING, Thanksgiving, Oktoberfest, etc.  Why not have a foodie day?  You can cook and bake together all day.  Find some awesome recipes on Pinterest, make your own Apple Cider, Hot Chocolate, Pumpkin lattes…Bake a Pecan Pie, roast Pumpkin Seeds, make some delicious sweets.  Turn up the music, have a dance party in the kitchen, and prepare the best Fall feast you can come up with!
